Title: Hi! From Wiltshire, UK
Post by: Xenocide on June 11, 2015, 05:15:47 AM
Hi Guys,

I'm Mark. I've bought a Harrison L5 lathe to start making metal into smaller bits of metal.

I've been restoring cars and doing general fiddling for a few years in my spare time and lost count of how many times i'd said "If I had a lathe..". Well I don't have that excuse now.

This is mine:

Had to laugh at the belts too.

Hi Mark,

Nice to hear from you. I've got an L6, and am just over the border in Dorset. Let me know if you need a hand with anything. Happy to help.

Graham

Mark, you look very happy wth your new lathe!  Welcome to madmodders.

We love pics, and great that you've already got some up here of the type we're always interested in. In future, though, please reduce them to 800 pixels wide max so they fit better!

I hope we'll see more of your lathe as you work on it, and any projects that come out of it!

Hi Mark
Welcome to MadModder, the Harrison L5, is a very capable machine, and will certainly enhance the restoration projects you are involved with.

Good Luck, look forward to seeing some of your projects.

                                                                           Cheers David

Hi and welcome.
Having a lathe is so useful when you're tinkering with cars. Lost count the amount of parts I've made rather than bought.
