The Link no longer works. Apparently it was pulled recently as it was still working this morning. The link mentioned the seller's name, occupation and town which is probably more info than should have been posted.
Check out this 1947 Ford Pickup!
Read the original equipment list, you'll be amazed.
Note! The last item mentioned in the features list, "some sort of factory cruise control" is a throttle control that was common on most cars during that time period. Both the throttle and choke controls disappeared when the automatic choke was developed.

Thanks for that link. I never get tired of looking at pictures like that.

I wonder if my old ute will one day be worth something then?
The Australians used to claim that they invented the ute when Ford Australia began to build light pickups with single side body pressings rather than cabin being seperate from the bed. Ford made them like that from 1930 something until Feb 1999 when they made mine in the last couple of weeks of production before going to the current format which is a gap between the rear of the cabin and the front of the bed, General Motors Holden still make the one piece utes.
When I ordered mine I ticked every box on the options sheet and also got one or two that were not offered as options, leather trim for example..
The final cost was just a little under twice the price of the most basic model of the Falcon XH ute.
Now considering that I have not changed it in anyway since and it is kept in good, or better, condition perhaps someone will appreciate it sometime in the future. That time will be after it is used to carry me in my box.
