Welcome to the collective! :)

I think a little more information is going to be needed, such as the brand/model of the equipment, etc.

They were made over a quite long period given computers were expanding fast.
the early ones used a BBC computer and ran of 7" floppies in a double drive system.
Later ones ran of PC's.

Somewhere I have copies of the lathe and mill programs for the PC version and the manuals but it may take me a while to find them.

Hi Davey,

Welcome to the Collective!  :borg:

All manner of problems are often solved on here...... But we do need a little more information than you've given so far!  ::)

Above all, we like pics and descriptions.

Give us a few more clues, lets see what can be done!
