Finding things to do.

bogstandard:
I am having to search around for jobs to do now, before I start another major topic. Plus I am waiting for a couple of jobs to be delivered, so I can't start anything large for myself until they are cleared away.

So thinking about what to do, I noticed my lily white hands were starting to get a bit rough.

'I know why', I thought, it's those rough old knurled handles on the lathe. This is a picture of the culprits. Plus also I was using a couple of allen keys as well, and they weren't helping to keep my hands nice and soft.

So out with the ali bar, and an hour or so turning, I had nice gripper handles made for the allen keys.

And those rough old handles got the same treatment.

All I need to do now is get some moisturiser mixed in with the cutting fluid, and my hands can be shown in public again.

Cool hand Bogs

That's a good one John. I am gonna have to do that as well.

Love the allen key handles John

Are they an interference fit or held with Loctite or some other adhesive?
