Bathtub Rocket stove heater for my workshop. |

Hi, this thread is about my workshop rocket stove build. I have a thread on the http://woodstoves.forumotion.co.uk/forum which is essentially the same subject. I had originally planned a much more simple stove using the bathtub with doors on the front and a chimney out of the back. But the Rocket principal is so good that I thought it had to be incorporated. In the Videos that I've attached I've asked a few questions, the answers to which I already have. I'm new to Video so please excuse my incompetence!! Regards, Matthew. PS, how do I embed a youtube URL into the page? |

Hi Matthew, I looked at these about 3 years ago for home heating. Looking was as far as I got. :palm:  DaveH |

Hi Dave, they are certainly worthwhile! The difficult thing is finding out how to design it, I couldn't find anything precise. Making it up as I go on with the help of the http://woodstoves.forumotion.co.uk/forum. regards, Matthew |
DaveH:
Hi Matt, Since you posted it has rekindled the spark and I have been seeing what is out there. Do you know if there are any commercial interest, or any commercial ones made for inside home use? DaveH |

Dave, I don't know anything about commercial rocket stoves, I hadn't done any research in that direction. From what I've seen on the web,a large percentage of the ones that are homemade are for domestic heating. I would ask the question on the :- http://woodstoves.forumotion.co.uk/forum.
