Weed Eater cutter mod
<< < (3/4) > >>
75Plus:
Chuck, I have four patches of Pampas grass that, combined, covers approximately 12 ~ 15 square feet of ground. I cut it back every year using a common, Black & Decker, AC powered, hedge trimmer. I first tie a rope around a batch near the top so I don't get buried in falling grass as it is cut.

dsquire,
You can relax, now. I bought a straight shafted brush cutter attachement for my weed eater. If I have to design and build something better I will, and send you all the bill...
Thanks for the constructive and even the not so constructive input. I don't really think MadModders could be held responsible for me hurting myself on my own property with a device of my own making, but thanks for caring.  :poke:

Well found David - Thanks.          The reason I didn't find anything was because I was looking for a photo  :bang: I went through all 50 (odd) pages of John S. posts but looking for a photo.  :bang:

Chuck

I have had a good nights sleep and read a few other coments and am relaxed.  :D

If you have to design and build something better you best get a PO first otherwise when you and send the bill it won't get paidl...

I don't believe MadModders would be responsible for you hurting yourself on your own property with a device of your own making. If someone else followed your instructions and built one and it malfunctioned and injured someone then you, MadModders and others could possibly face a lawsuit. Unfortunately their are people out there just looking for an excuse to sue somebody.  :D :)

Cheers
