Hi.

This might not be the right place for my post, but it seems the most relevant.

I have a Dominion super elliot woodworker which is in need of assembling and a little restoration.

I am not going to be able to do this myself, so would like to sell it to someone who will.

Does anyone know of the best way to advertise it and what price I should reasonably expect.

When I was rebuilding mine I watched several of them come and go on ebay, and none fetched anything like what I believe their true value to be. Most were end users, or inheritors of deceased end users, and they rarely fetched much. But a few were offered by dealers at very high prices, though none sold :(

I have seen your thread, which is how I came to this site.
The model I have is a Super Elliot Woodworker, which I think is the previous version to the Supreme Elliot Universal Woodworker. (Maybe the same model which you had parts off). However, it has been modified to use 2 motors rather than the original 1 motor.

There is one on at the moment e-bay starting at £300.

I would hate to have to send it for scrap as it would make a good machine for someone.

How would I find a dealer who is interested?

The National Coal Board had a lot of these machines - I believe that many pits were equipped with them once so quite a few turn up.
