 As for the ear crutches i didnt know how noisy it could be to read a newspaper!!! eating crisps sounded like thunder. It does settle down as you get used to them.

I was diagnose with industrial hearing damage some 25 years ago. Had my first aid, some 10yrs later.

How wonderful, to hear the birds singing again! Passing car's, tyre noise was frightening......

Now, just received an updated pair.  :thumbup:

Oh Dear, looks like we are all falling apart in some way or another. Still so long as we can mess about in the shed / workshop / Man Cave, or wahtever else we want to call it life is good.  :hammer: Who knows some day I just might remove enough swarf to  get a model that runs.  :med:  :lol:
   Meantime I get great info and encouragement from all in this forum.
