Hi there Fletch, Only joined recently myself, you've definitely come to the right place here, it's the best engineering and project forum around in my opinion.

I'd love to see some photos of your live centres,I've just finished one myself which is based on the old Matosa design.

I plan to make a few more variants soon so would really like to see your ideas.

Ha Ha . . . .Matosa . . I still use one I bought YEARS ago  . . 1980 I think - the chap who was was making them (forget his name) worked out of a long two storey shed somewhere in Sussex (I think) and I went and collected it from him. Fascinating fellow, but I think he is no longer with us.

I was using mine only yesterday
