Another for the Orphanage ?
« on: October 10, 2013, 05:31:51 AM »
Here you are, Mr Stilldrillin ...

With your talents you should be able to knock this back into shape in a day or so ... quick crack over with an oily rag and you're off ...

Unfortunately, can't exclude the ( mainly ) puerile comments ..

Well that's one 'challenge' that I'm not up for. Didn't Lawrence of Arabia have the same model on which he met his end?

...ah no a bit of Googling tells me that was an SS100 he had not an SS80.

An uncle of mine had two Brough Superiors , one after the other.

He told me that they were all made to measure but if Mr. Brough didn't like the cut of your jib, you never got to the top of the waiting list!
Best regards,

Pete W.

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs, you haven't seen the latest design change-note!

Lovely bike and interesting project. Would love to get my hands on that, but for the estimate I think I'll keep looking for a more complete project.

Tom.
I wish I was still riding. Only in my dreams, now........

Bob.
I too had a retirement project. A '69 Triumph Bonneville.
It went on Ebay, when I realised it was too large a project. The proceeds funded my present workshop and tooling.

Some more Norvin pics.....  http://madmodder.net/index.php/topic,3985.0.html
