Last April Hugh (ths) suggested that members in the vicinity might like to meet for a beer and a chat at the Crookwell Pub (in New South Wales, Australia). Hugh was still recovering from a broken leg (with complications) at the time but he reckoned he would be up and about in mid-November. So it is nearly mid-November now. Who is up for a meeting on (say) Saturday 30 November at (say) 1100 at the Crookwell Pub? Jim |

Jim, I sure do wish I could join you at the pub. Had a great time in Oz back in the mid '80's with the USAF at Kangaroo III exercise at RAAF Amberly. Andrew, the beer is great! I can vouch for that. At the RAAF Amberly NCO Mess, if you ordered a beer, it came in a frosted glass or pitcher. If you didn't drink it before the frost melted, the barman would take it away as you wern't serious about it! Chuck |

It can be done Andrew, you just need to spend the kid's inheritance. I made it to Harrowgate last year and had a great time. Next year I will be over your way Chuck, I am booked for Cabin Fever with Philjoe and then a River Cruise from New Orleans to Nashville (is that in E. TN?) maybe we can catch up for a beer then.
