| What the heck is going on with Google and Youtube. |

So Google is forcing Google+ onto Youtube users. Google+ seems to be Google's answer to Facebook and they're using their geet internet monopoly to make people use it whether they want to or not. Supposedly I can't approve Youtube comments any more without going through Google plus, so i've been trying to make sense of the website. It's a real mess of a layout, with features and buttons hidden all over, and at the same time it's bombarding me with photos of Machu Piccu and animated gifs of children hurting themselves. It's making me feel real out of touch. |

Being trying to make sense of Googles actions for many months, everything they do is a pain to use, why change perfection. Months ago the home page had buttons for various things including maps, now gone. Now wants me to log in to Google+ and wont accept established user name. Youtube just wants me to pay for additional services and since that's happened monetary has plummeted. |

I went through the Google+ transition a few weeks ago and it is a pain in the **** but now I find Google and Gmail and their other apps that I use are largely unchanged. I had a separate YouTube channel that I'd posted a couple of videos on and I managed to keep it separate from my Gmail account. Now if I'm logged into Gmail and click on YouTube it asks me which account I want to use. And, yes, they are trying to make Google+ into an alternative to Facebook. Gary |

I've happily run a YouTube channel, (Dayjo9), for more than 5 years. Around 80 vids, many subscribers. :thumbup: Seems, I can't now upload to my channel. And, when I do upload, my channel's called David Jones. (My name). :loco: Also, I seem to be in some sort of circle, with a load of people, I don't think I've ever heard of! :scratch: It's all well beyond me! :bang: David D |
