I removed them, when it's slack enough to adjust, it lowers, so you have to compensate, adjust lower, then tighten, re-check, try again and if your lucky you might get it right on the third go! Hi Bob, Looking good :thumbup: , a neat job as usual, glad the slide was the one that fitted your lathe , you will be glad you spent the time doing this once you have a rack of tool holders all loaded up :drool: and will be doing your turning jobs in half the time Cheers Mick. |
