I have a question - how does the ash get out of the boiler fire-box (on the beam engine)?   :scratch:   :scratch:   :scratch:

enjoyed the video of Darlington Pump house and can almost smell the engine room
There is a pumping station a bit nearer to you at Rhyhope that is maintained in working order have a look at
