Hello All, John "Doubleboost" mentioned MadModder on his video, so I came to take a look. Been a custom furniture maker for 35+ years, have that all down pretty well by now. Inherited some machinists tools so I decided to jump in and learn a new trade. In the last 8-9 months, bought a SB9A, a Bridgeport mill and then a SB13 and a Wells horizontal bandsaw. Thanks for the welcome! Eric, Yes I enjoy watching John's videos! Most of what I am doing now is getting some machines up and running. Making parts for a Baldor grinder that was in a dumpster??? Andrew, Always looking for good advice! Vtsteam, I am 25 miles SW of Boston. I spend a lot of time in Vermont's NEK at my camp. That may be 2.5 hrs north of you! Larry |
