Brushless DC motors as generators

Some of you may remember how I used a brushless DC motor as generator for my compressed air turbine.

I had a couple of inquiries as to where I get them from. The video I made shows what they came out of and how to dismantle the unit to extract the brushless DC motor. This method is quicker than building one from scratch.

When functioning as a generator both motors will produce about 65 watts. They will produce more if more powerful magnets were used.
