In our house, if you couldn't see the brush for flies, it would be disposed of with no further thought of recycling, just too messy for such a small gain. On the other hand, if it got down to just a couple of bristles remaining, then it would definitely be considered a viable target. I was wondering if it was worth trying to make friends with someone from the local Crematorium, I hear they have some nice pre owned stainless bits down there.
