I couldn't make it, so thanks so much for the pics. That black Lanchester HAM845 takes me back; my Dad had one from around 1951 to 1955 when he replaced it with a Jowett Javelin (I was 8 at the time). I bought the Javelin from him when I was 18 in '65, but soon replaced it with a 1947 Lea Francis Sports. There was something about our buying the products of failed manufacturers back then. Got a Mondeo now. :( Andy |
