I was pleased to see those ball centres. I'd heard about offsetting the tailstock to turn tapers but must've missed the part about using ball centres, so I couldn't get my head around how it was supposed to work using regular ones.

How are you using the threading dial on an imperial lathe to cut a 2mm thread?

I normally reverse the lathe for metric
But for some reason 2 and 4 mill pitch work fine with the thread dial indicator
