Well that looks nice!! The brass sheeting, is it prebent, or did you use some kind of brake yourself? My Danish is good enough to read your blog and get almost all... But not that! Also, how does brass compare with aluminium or painted steel, costwise? Up here, it's either of those two, brass would be much more expensive, and seen as "too blingy".

It will look darn good when done!!

Hi Kjelle

Brass is much more expensive than alu and steel here too - but with time it takes a very different "look" than this shinny gold-like look it has today - with time it gets a Brown color and on the very long run it gets green - nearly like cobber.

You can see on the 2. Picture some of the plates in the back on the house - they were set up 2 years ago and they have this Brown color now.

If that brass sheet was visible from the road in the UK, some of the low lifes we seem to have nowadays would have had it away to a scrap yard - they'd probably be pulling it off one end as you are fixing it at the other!

Looking really good! Nice and shiny!
How do you you avoid crashing into the carport with the brass blinding you?  :D

It's only shining for a short periode of time and in fact it's NOT supposed to shin that much.

As time goes by it will be Braun within 1-2 month and in the very long run - 20-30 years - it wil be green !

With sun glasses I can get through these first month without damaging the car - I hope  :D
