Having just got an Android tablet to do some R&D with I went looking for useful things to do with it. This is one of the most interesting projects I came across. http://www.yuriystoys.com/2013/02/new-version-of-android-dro-coming.html The idea of using Bluetooth to interface with the tablet is excellent. Just have a stand on each machine for the tablet. I already use an older version iPad for plans and diagrams, and to hold other useful data needed in the workshop. Great for keeping a snagging list in the notes section, as I used to have post-it notes and all sorts floating around the workshop before. |

:-) he's beaten me to it (no real surprise). I just bought a tablet and downloaded the SDK to do just this. looks good :-) Bill |
