Lew_Merrick_PE:
If you go to http://quicksearch.dla.mil/ you can download virtually any U.S. military (unclassified) specification.  FED-STD-H28 is the source authority for screwthreads for U.S. government work.  It contains more information on screwthreads than anybody in their right mind (i.e. nobody here qualifies, right?) wants to know.  The drawback is that you have to know the ID number of the document in question.  FED-STD-H28 is the ID number.

Thank you very informative.

Hhm, I won't be bookmarking this as I'm not sure if I can trust the data. The tapping drill sizes for Metric Coarse are different from any other data charts I've seen for this series. I've had lots of thread charts over the years and some have different drill sizes dependant on percentage of thread engagement but this is completely different.
