Joe d:
Hi modders... I recently posted my first adventures in gear cutting.. which came out OK, although I do have a spare 79 1/3 tooth gear if anybody needs one... :bang: Here's cutting tooth #80 on the second try. Worked a little better this time  These are all the spur gears required for Mason's "Minnie" traction engine which is the next long-term project Progress reports will likely be sporadic, but they will posted as things happen :) Cheers all, Joe |

Very nice!! I just love gears. I don't know why. If I were ever to build another machine from scratch, it would be a gear cutting machine. Nice box for your dividing head, etc! |
