Hi All, I'm a mechanical engineer that drifted into electronics and software.  Now I'm getting back into more mechanical design and building things.  I've a lot of experience with motor control, and have done a handfull of CNC machines - from scratch and retrofits.  Currently, I'm trying to get a new open-source, DIY CNC milling machine project off the ground (see lobocnc.com), but I'll do a proper post about that in the Tools section.  Look forward to seeing what you all are up to.
