hello from the first state
« on: January 31, 2013, 09:16:04 PM »
Just joined the forum and saying hello.
I'm into a lot of different things from street rods to metal casting. Basically if it makes noise or has moving parts I like it.  I'm currently working on patterns for one steam engines and designing a couple more. Hopefully in the next couple of months ill get something finished up. Lately I've been making  so brackets for accessory mounting for my dads street rod, once I get that finished up it onto the model steam engine of my own design,  still working things out with the design currently.   Any way, hello mad modders!!!  And VTsteam!

Me too, I want to see more of your pattern and casting work. Well, also you performance car work. Maybe I'll get some ideas for my '51 John Deere M!

Sitting here building a paper engine right now, did you see the drawing of the one that is really smoothed out on the stuart link I sent you??  going to model that one, which means casting the cyl head, steam chest, cylinders and upper block half as one assembly...
