The hosting server's network is down.  We're waiting for the hosting service to sort out the problem:

All back now, it was an FTP "syn flood" attack (I think that means some spamming w***ker gathered all his virus-infected windows machines together to try to break into someone's FTP account... thus knackering dozens/hundreds of accounts in the process). Grumble.
