The very thought of a bike ride that far scares the hell out of me these days. Not done a ride like that for around 60 years. :(

Hi Dek,

We often ride to the garden centre at Leighton which isn't too far from you.

I will wait for decent weather - I can afford to be a fine weather cyclist since I retired. (For 35 years I cycled to work whatever the weather. I only went in the car when I'd found something in the skip that was much too heavy to bring home strapped to my bike. Before I retired I bought a trailer for my bike so that I could bring home much of the stuff I'd got stashed in various hiding places at work.)
