Does the Font permit fractions?
(1/2) > >>
Pete W.:
Hi there, all,

I did look for some guidance on this but didn't find anything.

Does this site permit the use of fractions, e.g. ¼, ½, ¾, rather than 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 etc.

They look OK as I compose this post - now I'll click on 'Preview'.

They seemed to survive that, now I'll click on 'Post'.

Best regards,

Pete W.

Came out fine on mine.
Ω ohm , µ micro and ± plus/minus might also be useful if they work?
Ω = alt 234
µ = alt 0181
± = alt 0177 or 241
on my keyboard set-up anyhow.

Another handy one

° = alt 0176

For me, some of those alt and number combinations only seem to work with Num Lock on and the numeric keypad, rather than the numbers across the top of the keyboard. But alt 234 produces Û rather than an omega. I'm not sure what language puts a circumflex over a U.
