Ross:
Hi everyone,

I ordered this electric glow starter for my little wonder engine, unfortunately it turns off automatically after 20 seconds. Despite the seller saying it does not.

Before I return it for a refund, can anyone think of a way to bypass this timer? I can't really get a look at the circuit board without dismantling the cover so I wouldn't be able to return it.

Or does anyone know a supplier of one of these without the timer?

Send it back. Even if it was frigged to work continuously, it could well fry it.
I doubt very much if the Chineeeeeeeese have built enough quality into it to stand any abuse ..

Point out to the seller that it states in the instructions it turns off after 20 secs...
It states that in B&W step 3 above and says if starting not complete to press again in step4........... :coffee:

Ross:
Thanks guys for your advice I will contact the seller .

I'll try and find and alternative in the meantime

Ross:
No worries, the sellers told me that the 20 seconds starts from when the button Is released. The power stays on if you constantly press it.

Problem solved.  :headbang:
