I need to purchase some 8mm stainles or brass tube 300mm long and stright

I need to purchase some 8mm stainless or brass tube 300mm long and straight with aprozamatley 1.2mm wall I am in the uk and will want about a dozen to start with and then may need some more if anybody has any ideas they are for model prop shaft outer tubes so do need to be straight.

Try Majestic Engineering in Bootle, they probably don't carry anything that light in stock, but he'll be able to get & cut it for you I'm sure. If not, Mersey Metals are worth a try, they're on the posh side of the river - if they do them, I'd be happy to pick them up & bring them round to you.

M-machine do an 8mm x 1mm wall and I've always found them good. If you are liekly to need more then it will be better to buy full lengths than cut bits.
