Great illustrations - clean cut looking chaps with ties on and workshop aprons over thier good clothes - just oozing with good clean cut respectability and family values.
Making and Modifying Machinery - by Taunton Press (reprints from Fine Woodworking Magazine) in 1986 - available on Amazon - plenty of reviews already written on Amazon. Very good very practical guides for building all sorts of power tools.
