Well.... Thanks for the photo shoot Peter.... You could have let me suck my gut in!!! CC saw you coming and got a pose all ready! :)
Didn't get any length of time with anyone other than Dave (CC) we wandered the halls chatting for a few hours
Had a bit of a chat with Ian(Circlip... Guest of the forum  ) Who can confirm the motors I'm using for driving the mill' are of good quality.... Good to know :borg:
Had a chat with Peter (HS93) about his machines and what he's making with them....Weather station with a friend for..... I've forgotten the word?? Kinda like monitoring? rain fall etc. Peter can explain if need be I'm sure? Had a little chat with Stew(sbwhart) and a chat with Paul (Serveta150) about Photobucket and me torches
Sorry to David D(StillDrillin), We didn't really get a conversation started.... I was talking to Peter while you were talking with CC and Stew.....Then everyone disbanded and faded into the tool stalls!! Well there's always the interweb and next year!
The show was indeed fun, I love seeing what has been made. Many of the old favourites were there.... Some new bits too
Missing the jet engine this time though :(
But some new stirlings and a little more internal workings to photo.... I'll sort some out later and post them :coffee:
Why later.... Well I spent loads and loads of my hard earned and I am going to eat and then go out and play with all my new toys :ddb: :D
Happy tooled up Ralph! :dremel:

Hi guys,
Sorry I didn't see any of you, I had to man the club stand from 12 till 2pm. I only had an hour before that to see the models then 1/2 an hour after to look around the tool stalls by which point the wife and kids were itching to go! :(
I'm glad you all had a great time. I might actually go back tomorrow just with my 3 year old son, he loved it and I just feel like an couple of hours didn't do it justice at all. I can't bear the thought of it being over for another year!
:proj: did strike, I'm now thinking my next project might be a 5" gauge electric engine or a lawn mower powered 7 1/4" gauge ... will create another thread, just want to throw some ideas around first.
Nick
Bernd:
Well, sounds like all you guys had a grand old time.
Ralph, that's not a bad pose. Probably to much , but hey I like  too.
I'm a bit jealous since I live so far away and couldn't be there for all the fun. Oh well, like Ralph said, there's always the interweb.
Glad a good time was had by all. Now to replenish the wallet for next year, eh? :ddb:
Bernd
