Jeff --- End quote --- Should be able to machine quite a large flywheel horizontally on his 626 vertical mill with ingenuity - could even mount an outrigger for the hub to increase maximum diameter. (That's actually an advantage of the Bridgeport style in that you can swing the ram and head a long way left or right for this sort of thing) Andrew |

You can also just make up a temporary "lathe" for something like that. A couple of pillow blocks for an arbor, etc. |
