Hello Everyone
As you can see from the title of my post, I'm another who is moving here.

I'm a retired college professor (digital imaging, Photoshop, etc) but am still working in fine art. If anyone cares to look, that work is here

Nearly a year ago I got a mill and a lathe after visiting a friend's shop and seeing his model engines. I was hooked!

Up to this moment, I've built 5 running engines (Stan Bray's Slim Sam was the first; done entirely on my mill since my lathe was a month away from delivery) That was followed by 4 of Elmer Verburg's designs, Grasshopper, Scotty, Open Column Twin with Poppet Valves (don't get me started on those damn valves) and the 3 cylinder radial. The first engine took what seemed like forever. The rest were built following the Cabin Fever Expo from January until now.
Yesterday I got a good start on Bill Reichart's Epicyclic Engine.

Glad to be here and hope to contribute what I can.
