Model compressed air turbine
« on: July 13, 2012, 03:15:18 AM »
I recently built a model turbine /generator. I always thought that models like that had no power so I tried it to power a ghetto blaster and it worked. Take a look at the video

That's impressive Ironman, particularly the casting.

It could be made from the solid couldn't it?

That's a great  experiment!

With a crackin' result.......

What air pressure did you use?

Still drilling holes... Sometimes, in the right place!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!

A neatly recycled device
I don't like the noise though. It's an uncomfortable reminder that I'm due at the dentist  on Wednesday.

I've cut the end off it twice, but it's still too short

Yes it can be made from solid and I ran it on 120 psi, at that pressure it needs a muffler!
