DIAMOND GRINDING WHEELS
Mr.B:
How do you clean the surface of a diamond grit grinding wheel.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Bernard,
Brake & clutch cleaner, is good for that type of cleaning job.
This is the one I use. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-X-BRAKE-AND-CLUTCH-CLEANER-400ML-SPRAY-CAN-AUTOCARE-/400162617646?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d2b8cf92e
I wouldn't be without a can, or two, in the workshop. :thumbup:

Good stuff, but way cheaper in a 5 Litre can from a motor factors near you!
N.B. motor factor != "Halfrauds"

Hmmm...... Thanks Dave! :thumbup:
I'd forgotten. I used to obtain tricho in those quantities from work, when I did!
These days I use much smaller quantities, on much smaller widgets. Usually before loctiting.
The aerosol, wet blast is a useful feature too......

Doc:
To clean a diamond or CBN wheel it is best to use a cleaning stick.
Here is what I am talking about.
Diamnon/CBN cleaning sticks
After cleaning your wheel will preform as it did when it was new.
