band saw refit

hi all i was given a burgess bandsaw this became a project in all the saw was all ther just needed a scrub up and sum bits replasing well thats when the fun started nothing on wher as regards to pics of the parts missing the parts that i needed was the blade gides so i had a look at other band saw's and made my own up on the rebild i fawnd out that the drive belt was the rong one but with help from the forum fawnd a place to get a belt from got a new belt all up and runing a forum member had sum parts in his work shop for this type of band saw and has posted the parts to me right sum pics

Hi Bob,
Like your upper blade guides, ball races give nice support better then the original brass ones, what type of bandwheels is it on plastic or alloy? those parts shoud be with you in the next day or two i would think. they had been in the garage for a few years, hope you can make use of something.

hi well its up and runing i reseved the parts today from john and have fited sum of the parts the wheels are the plastic ones john more pics

  Hi Bob , its looking better already  :thumbup: , A real handy bit of kit a bandsaw , well worth the effort of getting back up and running .... You will wonder what you did before you had it I bet  :D

hi yep bin having a muck out today and i cut sum 3mm plate with it it cut it no problem
