I found this engine while doing some surfing..actually found an email but came back undeliverable. I would like to try and make this...Steven Pierce's 60° V-twin motorcycle engine. This engine is run on CO2. The scale is about 1/16 and it is made from brass and aluminum. It has a 1/4" bore and 1/4" stroke and is called the "Maxum Magnum." http://www.floridaame.org/GalleryPages/g1Non0134.htm Thanx again... V45 |

After looking around somemore ... it was brought to my attention that it's based offf this engine build by David Kerzel. http://www.john-tom.com/MyPlans/SteamPlans3/DavidKerzelCO2/TwinKerzelCo2.pdf But I still don't see how he mounted the top of the engine in the Magnum version? Any suggestions ? Thanx again...V 45 |

Are you talking about the "valve covers"? It might be possible the are screw on. I just saw a radial build (gas) where the designer did that. HMEM Link Hope that helps? I have DL'd the Dave Kerzel plans awhile ago and it is on the list! Eric |
