Does anybody know of good plans for a QCTP? |

I currently only have 1 tool slot in my harrison lathe with is really annoying and time consuming when I come to change tools! I really need a quick change tool post but they are quite expensive so I thought of making one? I have seen a few different types and the only one that appeals to me is a piston with a cam to lock it up solid, but would be interested to hear other peoples thoughs. Nick |

Ya know.. the biggest complaint I have with my QCTP.. I dont have enough holders. I always seem to need a turning tool I dont have mounted! Thanks for those links.. instead of buying more.. It would be more.. fun to simply make a few. :ddb: coughs.. feels like he may be sick... :proj: |
