I actually quite like that. I would be very interested to hear any reports on how it functions in the real life setting. I can see its possibilities but I can see some weaknesses.

I've seen this before and it's too involved. Looks bloody dangerous when you see it near the chuck too!  :bugeye:


Steve Bedair's version is so much simpler and works a treat. Ok, so you have to make a few changes to get the convex cuts... But it works just the same.

On the video, it says it's "robust", then a bit later that it helps avoid tool breakage by absorbing shocks, which seems a bit contradictory. It doesn't look very robust; there seem to be lots  of overhang and various swivel joints.

I myself agree with too much movement. But if it has locks on the pivot points that would only let one pivot move at a time, I see it very workable. And the price they get for it, it must be more than what you see.
