I saw a link to this site at the home machinist and I was a little pissed that I have not stumbled across this site before.  I am the very definition of a newbie and I am hoping to finish up the restoration of my Logan 820 tomorrow.  I can't wait to make my first chips.

If it is o.k. to post links to other forums, I have been keeping a log of the restoration on Shop Floor Talk, I would be happy to post the progress.  God willing, I can post a video of the lathe running tomorrow.
