vesconite?

Has anyone heard of vesconite? Is it available anywhere in small quantity? I can think of several uses in the home shop and for projects but haven't been able to locate anyone that sells it in small quantity.

I had never heard of it before, plus anything that ends in 'ite' I have a great suspicion of, as it usually means it is a one company patent product.

I did a web search, and very little about sales in the US came up, there were a few in the UK, and this looks very much like the Australian parent company.

If you can go by the manufacturers properties for the stuff, it seems a rather remarkable product.

Boggs is right, it's a trade name.  Just another "miracle" plastic.  I've used similar materials for low-pv applications (pv is load times speed)  Very similar in properties to rulon or frelon.  I have never encountered it except in lined bushings.
