Criz:
That's 'hello' for the poor unfortunates not from Yorkshire. I have a rusty tin shack that leaks a lot, and a desire to finally get round to modelling. I'm afflicted with keeping things that are well past their prime, so have plenty of experience of 3 days welding to get cars through the mot etc. The machinery collection has grown over time and my tin shack is now at full capacity. I have a mini lathe, 2x 1940 colchester master lathe (Though stupidly I've lent the best one out & kept the worn out one for myself), a microkinetics CNC lathe (ok machine, awful company), and I've recently got a small CNC milling machine. CNC is good when you're a left handed uncoordinated fool. I'm always fascinated by sterling engines at shows, so I guess that's where I'll be making scrap first. |

Well hello Criz  welcome to our little club :borg: The sterling engines have always fascinated me too, but I don't have the skills/confidence/patience at the moment (not to mention no workshop at the moment) but I look forward to following your progress as you post up about it ( you are going to post up about it aren't you :poke: :poke: :) ) Tim |
