That's a very nice book you treated yourself to for your birthday. I love the old engravings.

One of my favourite books is "The Elements of Mechanism" from 1859. We had one of the illustrations from it pinned up in our toolroom:

Does anyone recognise anyone in the drawing?

"Only another 20 odd years left to graft". Is that enough time to finish your CNC conversion?

 :lol: :lol: one of those blokes in the engraving looks like John Doubleboost at his long bed Boxford  :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
