Here are some pictures of a racing kart frame I built. It is 1-1/4" .065 chromoly and TIG welded. The tubing bender is partly purchased and partly fabricated. This was before I owned or had even used a mill or lathe. |

Is the square tubing your jig to properly hold the tube frame? Nice job on the welding by the way. :thumbup: Bernd |

Yes, the square tubing is the jig. Not a great one but it worked. The fish mouth on the tubing was done with a holesaw jig and some hand grinding and test fitting. Pretty time consuming. |
