Hi All,

I've been an off-and-on lurker for a while.  As time permits I'm getting back into the machining hobby, first it was school getting in the way, now its work.  :doh:

I have been trying to make some time to play with my toys, lately I've been playing around with my EMCO CNCs, :headbang:.  I'm definitely enjoying it.

Thank you all for sharing your projects and information, it is very inspiring.  I wish I had the time and talent to execute some of these projects.

Here is a link to some Youtube videos of my EMCO's making chips.

Hi Paco  :wave:

Nice lathe, but I love the way your shaper slowly but relentlessly shifts metal :drool:  :drool:

Hi Andy

I also love Shapers.  The Atlas shaper in that video belongs to a new home  :( .  I could not be without one for long, soon after selling that machine I picked up a Logan  :thumbup:.

I uploaded a video for your enjoyment.  I don't know what all the noise in the background is, its amazing how much we tune out but the Iphone does not.  Here it is;

Paco:

Welcome - love the logan shaper.  Sounds like you have a few to choose from in your area - they are few and far between here.

John.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.   Here is another video on my EMCO CNC Lathe.  I was practicing turning a shaft with a ball in the end.  You will notice that the tool cuts into the ball profile on the left side,  i did not bother doing a tool change, next time.  Enjoy!!  :beer:
