Set up a retangular block in the 4 jaw chuck

DaveH:
Thank you Norman.

A good spring loaded centring bar does help - no doubt about it.  :) Keeps it nice and "firm"

As my eyes get more tired the better the magnifying lenses get :)

Fergus OMore:
Nice to have 'quality suggestions' so well illustrated.

For those who have yet to get dial mikes, the setting gauge is remarkably indicative of getting it right by itself. Again, there is a nice bit of fancy boring- to learn if you go 'madly enthusiastic'

Somewhere, I have a 'tenths' dial mike  but I need a Sherlock Holmes magnifying glass to find it.  :hammer:
Dave, more of the same, please!
