New guy
« on: February 26, 2012, 09:35:33 AM »
Hi, my name is Stan!
I am interested in machines and tools. I have been in the construction, maintenance trade for about 40 years. I live near DollyWood in East Tenn. United States. I have always been interested in machining, and recently bought a Logan 820 http://www.toolfools.com/forum/index.php?board=17.0 in sad shape. It is fixable tho! I do own my own forum, but it is more aimed at the tool end of the spectrum. I do like this forum and its projects, ( it looks like mine! smf 2.02 )  I am learning all the time and these forums are the best place to do that, real people, with real projects, real problems, and real solutions! I am not an expert in anything! I am an amateur,  but am a pro in the quest for knowledge.

Hiya Stan

Welcome to the collective :borg:

That's a nice project lathe you have there. It will be fun to watch the restoration.
