Is it a substitute for the child on this page? http://www.1900s.org.uk/1940s50s-knitting-wool.htm I remember my mother making me hold wool like that back in the 1950s, while she rolled it up into balls. The prospect of wearing a new woollen sweater never seemed to compensate for the boredom. Andy |

Grandchildren of today don't want to do stuff like that - it's too boring :offtopic: and they start talking about civil rights and so :scratch: !
