A question about notifications....

In order to receive notifications on previous posts, does one have to make a reply to that post to turn on the notifications?

I don't want to drag really old posts out of the archives just to see if there are any further updates.   :wack:

Just go to the line above the message that says

    Reply       Add poll       Notify       Mark unread       Send this topic       Print

and click on Notify  then click on OK. You will then be notified any time that there is a new reply to to that message. I  have attached a screen capture to show what I mean.
